I just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate how well trained and honest your staff at the North Main store are. There are always so helpful, cheerful, and courteous but more importantly, how honest and sincere they are with customers. I have a bad habit of leaving small amounts of money in my pockets and they have always made sure they let me know about it and save it for me. However, recently I left a good sum of money in one of my pockets that did not belong to me. That afternoon your staff called me at home, and although I wasn’t at home I got the message. The next morning I stopped by the store and sure enough they had an envelope with the money in it waiting for me. I will be forever grateful to your staff and that is why I continue to be a customer at your store. I wish that all businesses were run like yours and life would be so much better. Dear Dan and Comet Crew:
I wanted to tell you how much I appreciate the “extra effort” your crew made on my behalf.
I have a nice denim jacket that had a glue-on patch on the back. I no longer wanted the patch on the back and tried to remove it. While several of my friends and I tried, we were unable to completely remove the patch and glue from the garment. We got a lot of it off, but not all, and it now looked awful. I brought it to your N. Main location as with all my dry cleaning etc. Your people are always very courteous and helpful, and I thought they may have a suggestion or better yet, they could remove the glue. About a week later I returned to check on the jacket. To my surprise, the jacket was free of all glue and looked great! The people who worked on it obviously were very careful and patient in their work and I truly appreciate it. I was extremely happy with the jacket and would have gladly paid whatever price for all this work. When I asked what I owed her, the girl informed me that there was “no-charge”. I took my jacket home, and have told a number of people how much I appreciate what your staff did for me.
I own several businesses here. I know all too well that my “crews” sometimes have to deal with negative customers, circumstances, etc. and don’t always feel appreciated. It’s my hope that your crew understands how much it meant to me for them to go the extra mile. Everything from the smile in the mornings when they greet me, to their genuine concern with my needs, your people continually impress me on every visit. Dear Dan, Heather, and Javier,
You may recognize the cinnamon, taffeta dress on the young lady in this photo! May 20, around 4:00 you guys saved me Big Time! I was attending a wedding in your area. My friend of many years (in the picture) was very busy so I took it upon myself to iron the Bridesmaid’s dress. I promptly ruined it with 3 huge water spots! The Springhill Marriott front desk clerk (John) recommended you guys! Heather answered and was so calm and friendly. I spoke to Dan and you were obviously up for the challenge. Covertly the dress was rushed to your shop where you (Dan) and Javier diligently performed a miracle! My cohort on the mission was a Big FSU man. I’ll always bet on Norte Dame! He enjoyed the outing terrorized me all weekend about my disaster. I finally fessed up- No one knew- As you can see the dress was perfect thanks to you and your friendly, helpful staff. To top it off you didn’t even charge me! I was speechless – Thank you all so much – I hope I didn’t offend anyone by leaving money- I wanted to reward your efforts. I will remember your kindness always (everyone at Comet was great) I hope I can return kindness in some of any tourist or traveler in my area -you guys have certainly earned my gratitudeLynn H.Lord Commander
Your cleaning person did a perfect job on a silk lady’s handkerchief, at least 100 years old,
